It is April already and how is your 2018 reading plan so far? Dedicated to promoting happy reading in the community, the SHKP Reading Club will add even more variety and fun to its activity line-up for 2018 to create different reading experiences for all!

This December is the SHKP Reading Club's fifth birthday! While celebrating the 4.23 World Book Day, the Club will launch a series of specially-designed activities from April to December to explore the beauty of reading and stimulate the atmosphere of reading as the Club approaches its fifth anniversary !

In July and August, the SHKP Reading Club will join the Hong Kong Book Fair and again sponsor over 1,000 disadvantaged children to visit the Fair and buy books. Authors will also be invited to conduct reading seminars at SHKP malls, filling the summer with reading fun! Before the summer vacation is over, the Club's Read & Share programme will award the teachers and students who have made exceptional contributions in encouraging and participating in reading at schools.

From September to November, the SHKP Reading Club will present 'Read On, Move On' programmes through which the public would experience the joy of reading and exercise. A series of interesting and interactive activities including cycling, stairway guided cultural tours and author sharing sessions will be organized to provide a reading experience that goes beyond books, encouraging people to develop the habits of reading and exercise.
The SHKP Reading Club will provide exclusive perks for its members on online social media platforms at times, including concession tickets for cultural events and shopping discounts, as well as exploring different ways to encourage creative writing.
