Decoupage DIY workshop

Parent and children explore creativity together

Art is not necessarily a difficult thing. Sometimes, it can be much fun for families. The Club's recent DIY workshop had professionals teach members and their families about the art of Decoupage. Participants had great times trying their creativity

Parent-child cooperation boosts family harmony

Many members at the workshop were beginners of Decoupage that found its root in Europe. They learnt the basic knowledge and skills from coach Ms Cher Chow and tried to make their own masterpieces for their family members. Parents and children took turn to glue or cut the papers in a joyful occasion. Eventually they created their own works. It was a harmonious moment for the families.

Mrs. Cheung and her daughter joined workshop together. She said: "The activity is new and interesting. It let us learn Decoupage and I realize my daughter and I have very good partnership." Ms Lee said: "I often brought my daughter along at the club's activities. I feel fulfilled that my daughter and I could make handicraft together and that we communicated very well at the workshop."
