This year's international SHKP Vertical Run for Charity – Race to Hong Kong ICC brought together exercise with charity, drawing athletes from around the world. SHKP had school cheerleading teams visiting its shopping malls to encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle. SHKP additionally had the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association involve in Sewing Seeds of Love, in which they cheered the vertical runners on with a 'knitfitti' covering the handrails up 82 floors of International Commerce Centre. These worthwhile activities were intended to encourage the whole city to support charity in various ways.
