SHKP's V Walk mall to build a strong presence in the core of Southwest Kowloon

SHKP is developing a 300,000-square-foot new shopping mall named V Walk above MTR Nam Cheong Station to meet rising demands for shopping, entertainment and leisure facilities from residents and office workers in the neighbourhood. V Walk is poised to become a shopping and leisure hotspot in the area.

Adding vibrancy to the area

SHKP has named the shopping mall "V Walk" with V meaning Vivid, i.e. energetic and young. V also sounds similar to "we", meaning "We Walk Together". It suggests an energetic meeting place and, upon completion, is expected to grow with the community and adding vibrancy to the neighbourhood. V Walk is a rare flagship mall in the neighbourhood housing about 150 retailers in six categories including fashion, skincare and cosmetics, watch and jewelry, audio-visual and electrical appliances, food and beverages and a supermarket Fusion by PARKnSHOP, plus a renowned Think International Kindergarten.

Scheduled for opening in the first half of 2019, V Walk will benefit from the interchange station linking West Rail Line and Tung Chung Line to enjoy easy access to different destinations on Hong Kong Island, Kowloon or the New Territories. The shopping mall will have a 400-metre outer wall with vast windows offering unrivalled sea views and creating a spacious feel through letting in more natural lights. Additionally, a 24-hour all-weathered indoor walkway and bridge adjoining nearby residential projects and schools will be built to draw family customers in the neighbourhood and offer trendy, premium leisure experience to young customers.
