    • A brand new Metroplaza awaits

    Metroplaza next to the Kwai Fong MTR recently finished a major revamp with new stores and attractions, plus festive surprises for the season in a Wishful Starry Christmas theme to celebrate.

    Stirring Christmas romance

    Metroplaza is decked out with all manner of special installations in the Wishful Starry Christmas theme for its first major festive promotion since the revamp. It offers a stunning feast for the senses with a meteor shower wishing tree under more than 10,000 LED lights, a romantic ferris wheel with colourful seats, aromatic tangerine luring visitors with its delicious fragrance and a lover pool where couples can press the stars to light up a giant heart in a dreamy glow. There is additionally an hourly music and light show plus a fantastic meteor shower each 30 minutes revealing a romantic winter scene. Until 26 December, the mall has a Christmas Beauty marketplace with international beauty chains and creative Hong Kong restaurants offering limited Food-Art cuisines combining beauty, art and food to tempt customers with unique sights and tastes.

    Magnet for office workers

    The Metroplaza revamp added an alfresco dining area and seasonal floral display. One of the highlights is a new piazza of more than 40,000 square feet connecting third to fifth levels to create a secret garden in the city. The landscaped surroundings include a stunning sea of flowers that change with the seasons and a 150-feet Starlight Walkway with a sea of LEDs to enchant lovers under its winking presence. An urban farm and adventure park opening next year will further enhance Metroplaza's appeal.

    Metroplaza has 30,000 square feet dedicated to a beauty paradise with international skin-care, cosmetics and personal care stores like Clarins, Clinique, Estée Lauder, Lancôme, M·A·C, Shiseido, SK-II and Japanese chains including MUJI, UNIQLO, Lowrys Farm, Global Work and more for trendy shoppers. There are additionally nearly 90 fashion and sports stores plus 30 restaurants like L.D.K by Ufufu Café, Oreryu Shio Ramen, Shin Mapo BBQ, NeNe Chicken, simplylife, Passion by Gerard Dubois, Hawker 18, Izumi Curry Grill, Beerliner German Bar and Restaurant, plus the Kwai Fong Broadway Theatre and LOG-ON bringing the number of shops to 230 offering all types of leisure and entertainment.
