SHKP has been developing the large Oriental Bund integrated project at Chancheng in Foshan, including high-quality residential units. The first release of units will go on the market at the end of this year. SHKP has an 80% stake in the project.
The first release at Oriental Bund was some 260 large units with floor areas ranging from 1,700 to 4,500 square feet, including three- to four-bedroom and special units. All the units in this release are aligned along the north-south axis and have a terrace-style layout so that all residents can enjoy a scenic view of the river. Special duplex units will have deluxe suites that afford a great view of the beautiful outdoors from a spacious balcony, and a private in-house garden on the lower floor. The large, open living space will let residents be creative in designing their homes and enjoy a quality lifestyle. Oriental Bund will be managed by SHKP's Kai Shing, which will also administer a clubhouse and other recreational and leisure facilities.
Oriental Bund will include quality residences, a large modern shopping mall, quality hotel, grade-A offices and more. All the conveniences imaginable like shopping streets to experience the traditional ambience of Lingnanese commerce, riverside walkways, a central park, primary schools, kindergartens, and medical facilities will be available.
Public transport connects Oriental Bund to the Shiwan station on the southern extension of the Guangzhou-Foshan Metro network that is under construction. Residents will be able to take the metro right into the heart of Guangzhou city or use the elevated rapid link under construction to reach Guangzhou South Station on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail in about 15 minutes, from where there is a direct train to Kowloon Station in Hong Kong.
