SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation representatives attended an Effective Scholarship Management forum at Guizhou University and visited scholarship recipients at their homes
The SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation has set up scholarship and bursary programs in various mainland provinces and cities over the past 15 years to assist outstanding students with limited financial means in their studies. The Foundation recently held an Effective Scholarship Management forum at Guizhou University to explore the effectiveness of the programs. Representatives from some of the universitiesthat received scholarships or bursaries exchanged their views on promoting long-term, sustainable development of the programmes.
Tianjin, Xi'an Jiaotong, Zhejiang, Sun Yat-sen, Hunan, Northwest, Southwest and Guizhou Universities sent delegates to the forum. Participants had practical, in-depth discussions on the effective management of SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation scholarships, goals achieved, sustainable development strategies, charity scholarship events, the establishment of inter-university alumni associations. Representatives contributed constructive, practical views and gave updates on mainland universities and university scholarships and bursaries. Foundation representatives also visited some Guizhou University scholarship recipients at their homes to understand their family lives.
