SHKP's Shanghai iapm mall in Puxi is opening in stages to introduce a modern, high-end shopping experience. It follows the late-night shopping model pioneered by SHKP's apm in Hong Kong but blends in the local lifestyle and culture to inject new life into Shanghai's traditional retail and business district.
The mall is on the bustling Huaihai Central Road in Puxi, so it is well positioned commercially and geographically. The name iapm has its own meaning: i is for international, innovation, inspiration, information technology, intelligence and individuality, denoting a new late-night shopping concept for the i generation in which everyone can indulge their personality; apm signifies that shopping is not restricted to day (am) or night (pm). Retail outlets in the mall close at 11:00 pm and restaurants stay open until midnight or later. The 'extra' business hours let patrons enjoy their lifestyle with the unique mall experience.
