SHKP is developing a number of premium residential projects in southern China. New releases of units at The Woodland in Zhongshan and Park Royale in Guangzhou's Huadu District are on the market, as well as Grand Waterfront in Dongguan.
The Woodland is a large, low-density residential project that SHKP is developing by phases in Zhongshan with comprehensive clubhouse amenities and schools. COLOR LANE, phase 4C of the project, comprises six low-density blocks at the centre that went on the market in the first quarter of last year. Over 90% of the units are sold. The latest units include duplexes of about 3,990 square feet (about 371 square metres) and the two remaining penthouses.
Phase 2A, named Royal Green of Park Royale in the Huadu District of Guangzhou is made up of five blocks. There will be 861 units with two to four bedrooms (with en suite) ranging from about 850 square feet (about 79 square metres) to about 1,560 square feet (about 145 square metres). Towers 19, 20 and 23 in Royal Green containing more than 300 units went on the market in the fourth quarter of last year to a good reception. A primary school and kindergarten within the project are very popular with young families. The extension of Guangzhou Metro Line 9 should be operational by the end of 2017, improving the connection between Huadu district and the urban areas of Guangzhou. Units currently being offered for sale are in Towers 21 and 22.
A full 36% of the Grand Waterfront residential project in Dongguan will be covered in greenery and all units will have extra-large balconies. Most units will also enjoy premium views of Dongjiang. The project has been very popular with buyers. Residents will additionally have the benefit of convenient transport with Dongguan Rail Transit Line 2 linking various cities in the Pearl River Delta, which is expected to be in operation by mid 2016. Tower 8 in Grand Waterfront went on the market in January. Two-bedroom units of about 980 square feet (about 90 square metres) with an in-house garden have been favoured by buyers from outside the area and those frequently travelling the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway.
