Hangzhou IFC presents new residential units to continue the IFC brand's legacy

Hangzhou International Finance Centre (Hangzhou IFC), the large-scale commercial integrated development project located in the Qianjiang New City CBD in Hangzhou, is a joint-venture development meticulously planned by Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP). It is also an eye-catching landmark constructed by SHKP under the IFC brand, as well as a splendid urban landscape along the Qiantang River. The residential portion of Hangzhou IFC consists of seven residential towers, providing a total of 653 premium residential units, with the last batch of 357 units to be launched on 23 August, attracting much attention from the market.

Landmark integrated business space shapes the new face of the city

The Hangzhou IFC integrated development is bordered by the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and divided into two areas, River East and River West. The central area, built by the government and straddling the Grand Canal, features an iconic giant Ferris Wheel, urban park, and landmark pedestrian bridges across the Grand Canal. It brings the quality office buildings, deluxe shopping malls, high-end residential buildings, five-star hotels and serviced apartments of River East and River West together into one, embodying the architectural concept of "seamless and integrated development".

The residential portion of Hangzhou IFC is managed by Kai Shing, a subsidiary of SHKP, and the final 357 additional units are distributed across four residential towers in River East, with a gross floor area of about 173 square metres to 342 square metres (about 1,860 square feet to 3,680 square feet), whose handover is expected to be completed in 2026. The four residential towers are seamlessly connected to the shopping malls, hotels and office buildings of the Hangzhou IFC integrated development via the sky bridges and pedestrian walkways, providing a wealth of dining, leisure, retail and commercial facilities. There are also medical and educational facilities around the development, such as the Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (SRRSH) affiliated with the Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Zhejiang Eye Hospital (Hangzhou Campus), Basis International School Hangzhou, and Hangzhou Qianjiang Foreign Language Experimental School, to create a one-stop diversified space for living, leisure, business and office.
