SHKP wins tender for the Artist Square Towers Project in West Kowloon, which will create synergy with ICC and the High Speed Rail West Kowloon Terminus Development

Following its winning the High Speed Rail West Kowloon Terminus Development tender in 2019, Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) has won the tender for the Artist Square Towers (AST) Project at the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) recently. The AST Project comprises three commercial buildings with a total gross floor area of approximately 65,000 square metres for office/retail/dining/entertainment uses.

Building a world-class arts and cultural hub

SHKP Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok is very pleased to hear that the Group has won the tender for the landmark development project, which demonstrates its strong confidence in the future of Hong Kong and the country clearly. He elaborated that the National 14th Five-year Plan has expressed clear support for Hong Kong to develop into an East-meets-West centre for international cultural exchange. SHKP believes that upon completion of the AST Project, Hong Kong will be one of most vibrant arts and cultural hubs in the world. The AST Project is not purely a commercial development. It is an integral part of the WKCD and will certainly help foster the development of Eastern and Western arts and cultural exchanges in Hong Kong. It is also set to create synergy with the nearby ICC and the High Speed Rail West Kowloon Terminus Development, further boosting the area's status as a unique commercial, cultural, arts, retail, entertainment and transportation hub in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
