Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon's debut route on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge brings a hybrid experience to riders

Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon, with Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) as Title and Charity sponsor, will be held on 16 January 2022. SHKP Executive Director Adam Kwok said that, in addition to allocating a part of the public registration fee for charity, the Group will make additional matching donations in the ratio of 1:5, meaning for every HK$100 an individual rider contributes, SHKP will pitch in HK$500, thus benefitting more people in need.

This Cyclothon event comprises physical and virtual activities: The physical ride, with two ride categories of 48km and 26km, will take place on the Hong Kong section of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the world's longest bridge-tunnel sea crossing, highlighting Hong Kong for its important role as an international link in the Greater Bay Area; the virtual activity will be held from 3 to 16 January 2022, allowing people from Hong Kong, the mainland and overseas to be the first to experience the virtual ride of 26km designed on the real environment of the Bridge and enjoy the unique view, simply by downloading the designated free mobile app. Please click herefor more details of the events.

SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation

SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation has maintained an excellent cooperative relationship with Hunan University for almost 20 years, encouraging underprivileged students to strive for excellence through its scholarships. With the signing of the fourth phase donation agreement of SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation's scholarship programme, Hunan University has received over RMB 16 million in donations, benefiting nearly 3,000 students. Xu Guozheng, Vice President of Hunan University, expressed his gratitude, stating that this honour brings both material benefits and spiritual motivation. Hunan University will establish the Hunan University-SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation Scholarship Programme Student Team to help students improve their all-round abilities, participate in social practices and exchange ideas during visits, playing their education role in the programme. Amy Kwok, Executive Director of SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation, expressed her delight indicating that it is a long way to go in supporting students, but hoping that this new phase of the programme would carry on the tradition of excellence and train more outstanding students.
