There will be an abundance of Christmas activities at SHKP’s Shanghai ifc mall and iapm at Shanghai ICC, so everyone can have a great Christmas!
A bear hug can make a child feel warm and comfortable, and many of us grew up with the friendly but somewhat accident-prone Paddington Bear, in his old bush hat and blue duffle coat. A ten-metre tall inflatable Paddington Bear that glows in the dark is standing at the Pearl Plaza outside Shanghai ifc mall welcoming visitors to a white Christmas wonderland this year. Another 5-metre tall Paddington Bear in his classic garb awaits visitors at the mall's atrium, which has been transformed into a Snow Garden. Be prepared to be captivated by the intricately crafted works of nine international illustrators and designers plus Taiwanese artist Angela Chang at the Paddington Bear Benches exhibition that show their vast imagination to portray Paddington Bear's charm. Don't forget to take in the mall's Star Avenue and see the limited-edition Paddington Bear dolls collection that has been previously displayed in museums in UK and Japan, together with four statues of Paddington Bear wearing New York, London and Paris fashions and an outfit designed by Angela Chang respectively. Shanghai ifc mall also joined hands with Caroline McFarlane-Watts, who designed miniature sets for the Harry Potter movies, to stage the Paddington Bear Miniature exhibition on the third level of the mall, displaying mini-scenes of Christmas dinner banquet, English sweet shop, English bakery shop, Paddington railway station, English garden, English kitchen and Christmas cottage. They invite shoppers to enjoy Paddington's world in London.
Club members spending RMB800 or more (RMB1500 for non-members) at Shanghai ifc mall on 20 & 21 December 2014 can get a limited-edition Paddington Bear travel set including passport holder and luggage tag. Only 50 sets available, while stock lasts and first come, first served.
iapm mall has a Magical Christmas World of Fairy Tales for the holidays. Fantasies are brought to life by French illustrator Marie Desbons as an over-three-metre Santa Claus emerges from underground to guide visitors through the dream-like scene. See 20 Santa Claus, fairies, forest elves and gingerbread men in the fantasy forest in the mall atrium. Moreover, amazing art works from Australia Paper Cutting artist Emma Van Leest and American Book Sculpture artist Jodi Harvey-Brown are exhibited in the mall as well to impress you with the unbelievable delicacy, especially in the works of Hymnal Angels, Santa’s Sleigh and Winter Woods.
Club members spending RMB100 or more (RMB500 or more for non-members) can get a limited-edition desktop calendar designed by French illustrator Marie Desbons or a special gift until 4 January 2015. Only 100 50 calendars and gifts available while stock lasts. First come, first served.
