Shanghai ifc mall proudly presents the 'Snoopy™‧Peanuts Premium Art Exhibition' until 31 October 2014.
Before you walk into Shanghai ifc mall, you are greeted by an eight-metre tall inflatable statue of Snoopy together with its friend Woodstock which 'glitters' with the vibrancy of the Oriental Pearl Tower. At the atrium on the first floor, there are 25 pieces of iconic Snoopy statues portraying its image from the 1950s to 1990s, plus 12 statues of the cartoon dog crafted upon the idea of internationally-renowned fashion designers. Snoopy in Fashion, the much-anticipated segment of the extravaganza, features 35 pairs of Snoopy and his younger sister Belle displaying 35 fashionable outfits designed by world-class fashion designers. The brands include CÉLINE, FENDI, GIORGIO ARMANI, Chloé, GIVENCHY and Pierre Balmain.
'Snoopy™‧Peanuts Family Premium Art Exhibition' also features a collection of Snoopy statues designed by a number of celebrities from the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The big names are Aaron Kwok, CoCo Lee, Karen Mok, Wu Chun, Raymond Lam, Rainie Yang, Angela Zhang, Kenji Wu and Guo Jingming X Mo Yifei. Before the exhibition concludes, the statues will be put up for auction and all proceeds will be donated to the Snoopy Charity that supports children with chronic illness. Meanwhile, Shanghai ifc has opened a themed online shop offering limited-edition Snoopy collectibles, including gifts, trendy items and the latest souvenirs. The limited-edition collectibles, the first of its kind on the mainland, are set to receive an overwhelming response. To make your visit even more memorable, don't miss out the interactive photo-taking corner where visitors can take snapshots with Peanuts characters.
