A number of Chinese and other restaurants in SHKP hotels, office towers and shopping malls were given stars in the 2013 Michelin Guide to Hong Kong and Macau; showing international recognition for the quality of their cuisine.
Michelin star winners were the Lung King Heen Chinese restaurant and Caprice French restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, Tin Lung Heen Chinese in The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, Tengu Ryugin Japanese at International Commerce Centre (ICC) Sky Dining 101, Dong Lai Shun Beijing restaurant at The Royal Garden, Shanghainese Jardin de Jade in Sun Hung Kai Centre, Lei Garden Cantonese in New Town Plaza and Cuisine Cuisine and Lei Garden in ifc mall in Central.
Both Lung King Heen and Caprice retained their three Michelin stars with their top ingredients, exquisite presentation and impeccable service. Lung King Heen was the world’s first Chinese restaurant to achieve Michelin three-star status. Tin Lung Heen is the highest Chinese restaurant in the world, boasting sweeping views of Victoria Harbour, and Tengu Ryugin serves traditional and well-presented Kaiseki cuisine. Dong Lai Shun is famous for Shuan Yang Rou – paper-thin slices of Inner Mongolian black-headed mutton. Huaiyang cuisine is also provided to add extra choice. Jardin de Jade mainly serves an innovative interpretation of delicious Shanghainese cuisine, while Cuisine Cuisine is characterized by its top Cantonese cuisine and sauces like no other. Lei Garden’s dim sum offers a memorable experience.
