The kitchen is the centre of the home and a perfect place for parents and children to bond. The SHKP Club has arranged for renowned chef Jason Dao of Le Soleil at The Royal Garden to give a fun nutritious cooking class for Star members so they can join their children for some quality family time making tasty, nutritious food.
Star members at the class will learn how to prepare authentic Vietnamese dishes and their children will learn about different ingredients like ultra-thin Vietnamese rice paper, the taste of peppermint, fragrance of lemongrass and whether they can be eaten raw or have to be cooked. The children will use cups and scales to measure out the ingredients to build confidence. The event is aimed to strengthen parent-child bonds as the two learn to help and trust each other. Admission is free for the 18 places for the class.
