We received close to a thousand submissions for the "Pictures of Love" competition, with pictures that told the story of love between people.
The submissions were accompanied by short sentence captions that matched beautifully with the pictures, such as: "Papa, I have a secret to tell you, and that is 'I Love You'!" and "Papa, I want to walk my whole life with you, never to part." To spread this love among the community, SHKP Club held the "Pictures of Love Gallery" at SHKP's Tai Po Mega Mall, East Point City and New Town Plaza. The exhibition's centrepiece and main attractions were the selected works of "Love" that had been especially selected from the "Pictures of Love" competition.
The highlight for the exhibition was the "Hand in Hand with Love" activity, where SHKP members and Hong Kong people joined hands with their loved ones to press the 'love button' set up in front of the three-metre high giant hand structure to demonstrate the strength of family ties with their mutual commitment to displaying more sincere, passionate, tender and joyful towards one another! The exhibition came to a close with visitors being attracted of more than 600,000 person-time and we are truly grateful for the overwhelming support that we received from everyone.
