The Hong Kong Family Surveys are part of the SHKP Club's effort to promote mutual understanding and communication among family members. In 2015, the survey took on the theme Ten Things Hong Kong Families Like and Dislike Most and the Club invited members and their families to open up and share their thoughts.
The survey investigated in a greater number of areas, including words and deeds, conversation topics and personalities that respondents like and dislike. It is hoped that by exploring how different family members perceive various words and deeds in their daily lives it will give people a deeper understanding of the feelings and needs of family members, thus facilitating mutual exchange and communication.
