SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation representative at the plaque unveiling ceremony for the waterworks in Lintao
SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation follows the ideal of Building Homes with Heart and spares no effort in helping the younger generation. It promotes educational development in Hong Kong and funds disadvantaged mainland students, including high school students from the impoverished western China to fulfill their dreams of further studies,. It also brings potable water to rural families for a better quality of life.
SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation has funded waterworks supplying drinking water at ten villages in Lintao and Ningyuan Counties in Gansu Province since 2015, providing potable drinking water for more than 1,000 rural families. Two of the projects were recently completed and the local government put up a plaque as gratitude for the generous donation from the Foundation. Representatives of the Foundation visited Lintao Middle School to meet with over 200 bursary recipients for 2017-2018. The top 20 students were awarded scholarships to encourage them to try their best in college entrance examination.
