    • Flagship YOHO MALL in Yuen Long to open officially in July

    SHKP's grand YOHO MALL in Yuen Long will be officially open in July with a stellar lineup of fashion, beauty, dining, family, entertainment and lifestyle outlets offering everything one could want in shopping. The new mall will combine with New Town Plaza in Sha Tin to form a consumer bridge across the New Territories where people can indulge to their hearts' content.

    New magnet for young shoppers

    YOHO MALL follows the concept of 'Refined, Redefined.' to offer an interactive lifestyle and cultural experience. The mall is an amalgam of three smaller retail nodes congregating more than 300 international outlets, and will include a new Broadway My Cinema. The My Cinema will fill 55,000 square feet with seven standard cinemas and an IMAX theatre with the widest space between rows and the largest seats in Hong Kong. Standard My Cinema houses will have luxury vibrating seats, RealD Precision White Screens, studio-quality audio and 4K Laser projection. One house will have a DTS:X system and all will have tiered seats with no obstructed views so audiences have unparalleled enjoyment of their favourite movies. My Cinema plans to show independent films and have regular appreciation workshops and cultural events for YOHO MALL moviegoers to promote the arts.     Architecture mirrors relationship between man and nature

    YOHO MALL was designed to echo natural landscapes, with wood floor patterns modelled on river currents, art installations that look like egrets wading in the river, shiny reeds of glass swaying in the wind and asymmetrical benches like floating boats. All these and the variety of refreshing mall greenery inside and out will make shoppers feel a close connection to nature. The developer has connected the three components of YOHO MALL with elevated footbridges encased in floor-to-ceiling glass to offer a bright vantage point over the green environment and bustling urban landscape of Yuen Long, as well as large skylights crisscrossed by wooden beams for a unique shopping and leisure space. The YATA supermarket covering over 21,000 square feet will open in the fourth quarter of the year with Go Green and Go Nature themes offering a simple, natural environment emphasizing taste and lifestyle with the modern Go Green food culture for young consumers with exacting tastes.

    Extensive transport links and Star Member parking privileges

    The transport network surrounding YOHO MALL offers easy access to all Yuen Long and beyond, including more than 25 bus routes and nearly ten minibus routes; with direct access to Central and Causeway Bay. Two cross-border services make it convenient to Huanggang, Futian and Shenzhen Bay, and motorists from Hong Kong or the mainland will have the benefit of some 1,500 parking spaces, with intelligent parking navigation and vehicle search systems for efficient, premium shopping. Travellers flying from Shenzhen Baoan International Airport can also check in at a waiting lounge before transferring to the airport.
