Noah's Ark Hong Kong summer camps for disadvantaged children

Noah's Ark Hong Kong promotes love and harmony in the community and organized four inspiring summer camps for over 300 disadvantaged children. SHKP Chairman and Managing Director Thomas Kwok presented the participants with certificates at the Rainbow Summer Camp graduation ceremony at Noah's Ark.

Turning adversity into opportunity, never giving up

The Rainbow Summer Camp in August was staged by Noah's Ark Hong Kong and J Life Foundation for disadvantaged families. There were 50 children from single-parent families or those relying on comprehensive social security assistance in the camp. Mr Kwok told participants at the graduation ceremony to have faith and persevere in the face of setbacks. He was also pleased with participants’ courage to achieve breakthroughs and generously give back to society.

There were 20 university or high school students as instructors at the camp, and they helped the children build self-confidence and care for the community. The young instructors were also able to enhance their leadership skills and awareness about social responsibility and the purpose of social service.
