Popular SHKP Club Lovey-loving Family Health Exhibit comic gallery

The SHKP Club's popular Lovey-loving Family Health Exhibit comic gallery drew to a successful close recently after being viewed over a million times. Thanks to Club members, their families and friends for visiting and supporting healthy lifestyles.

Promoting physical and mental health awareness

The Club has a Lovey-loving Family Ten Ways to be Healthy comic on its Cherish Your Family facebook page to promote healthy family lives and it created a giant fiberglass Lovey-loving Family for the Health Exhibit tour of SHKP malls including apm, wtc more, Tsuen Wan Plaza and V city in Tuen Mun. Visitors were able to acquaint themselves with the Ten Way to be Healthy promoting family love and encouraging the Club’s 370,000-plus members and the public to get healthy with their loved ones!

Ten Ways to be Healthy and the Lovey-loving family comic are on the Club's Cherish Your Family facebook page so members can share the stories and spread the message of healthy family living.

Warm water and nutritious breakfast: Drink a cup of warm water when you wake up, followed by a nutritious breakfast
Slow eating and 70% full: Chew food thoroughly, swallow slowly and only eat until 70% full
Slow, deep breathing: 1. Abdomen rises when breathing in
2. Abdomen falls when breathing out
3. Focus on slow breathing
4. Stay calm for 10 to 20 minutes and relax your mind
Daily aerobic exercise: 30 minutes of medium-intensity exercise (eg brisk walking or cycling) improves physical health
Regular routine: Have a regular routine and sleep seven or eight hours every night
Enjoy sunlight: Try to spend time outdoors each day and get sun, which helps produce vitamin D and fine-tune your internal clock
Cultivate hobbies and confidence: Cultivate multiple interests, develop your potential and build confidence
Be grateful each day: Think of people or events in the day that you appreciate before going to sleep
Speak positively: Give yourself praise and encouragement often and do the same for other people
20 minutes of casual family talk: Talk to your family for at least 20 minutes every day to show that you care and share your happiness
