Greenery evokes the idea of new life and makes people feel refreshed and serene. The SHKP Volunteer Team and Helping Hand recently began work on the SHKP Greenery Project landscaping the Helping Hand Cheung Muk Tau Holiday Centre to give the seniors there a more comfortable environment.
This project fits with SHKP's Building Homes with Heart ideal. The volunteer team previously applied technical expertise to help needy elderly households to relocate and renovate, and this project combining landscape planning and gardening is a major extension. The project should be finished in a year. The volunteers will take charge of landscape planning and help lay turf, repair planters, plant, prune trees and more so that the seniors have healthy, green environment.
