SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation sponsors mainland students on international academic exchange

Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) 2016 Asia Conference was held in Hong Kong previously. With the support of the SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation, eight Foundation scholarship recipients (at Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nanjing University, Tianjin University and Northwest University) came to Hong Kong and attend the convention, which is Harvard's largest student conference in the region.

Broadening international outlook of future leaders

After the end of the intensive five-day conference, Foundation Executive Director Amy Kwok met the sponsored students to hear what they thought and learned. She said she hoped the conference exposed them to multicultural views, enriched their knowledge and broadened their horizons to offer clearer objectives for life and development.

Over 90 renowned academics, entrepreneurs, professionals and political leaders attended the HPAIR 2016 Asia Conference including 2011 Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman. Speakers interacted with over 500 top students from the world's foremost universities in keynote sessions, seminars, workshops and case studies on a spectrum of pressing issues. The issues comprised Asian and world politics as well as social, economic, cultural and business challenges and development trends.
