SHKP is naming its large integrated joint-venture development in Chancheng, Foshan Oriental Bund. The project will be mostly residential with a vibrant shopping mall, high-quality offices and a hotel.
Oriental Bund is in the core of Foshan, at what will be the new city centre by the Dongping River with splendid views. The development follows Chinese art and blends a Lingnan garden with modern architecture in an eight kilometer, Kyoto-inspired central landscape in a 'three horizontals and one vertical' plan. There will also be a premium clubhouse where residents can relax and enjoy their leisure time. East of the project is a planned Foshan Garden, which will provide residents with a green landscape.
The units in Oriental Bund are designed in a new oriental style and a variety of types will be available. The first batch to go on the market will include three or four bedrooms and specialty units ranging from 1,700 to 5,000 square feet. The blocks are staggered so residents will have clear views of the Dongping River. There is comprehensive transportation in the area with a subway line currently in operation covering the city’s main areas and connecting directly to the Guangzhou city centre. Oriental Bund is close to the Guangzhou South Station on the Express Rail Link and it will only take 50 minutes to travel get to Kowloon Station in Hong Kong via the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link.
