Mother's Day is approaching in May and the SHKP Club is staging a heartfelt I Love You Mommy activity online so that people can creatively express their love for their mothers. Additionally, the Club had a recent Words of My Heart activity to collect personal messages of family warmth and love.
Mother's Day often sees many people taking their mothers out to shop for gifts and go for dim sum, or join special Mother's Day events in shopping malls. The Club started the I Love You Mommy online activity, inviting people to describe past or planned Mother's Day celebrations in SHKP malls on the Club's Cherish Your Family Facebook page to show love and gratitude. The three most creative entries on the theme will win HK$200 worth of SHKP Mall Cash Coupons.
The recent online Words of My Heart programme drew more than 2,000 'likes' from visitors to the Club's Cherish Your Family Facebook page and a myriad of outstanding entries. They included encouraging words from mothers to their children about realizing potential such as: "Everyone has a unique talent and you certainly do, so let's explore together, shall we?" There were also comforting words from a mother to her son who just broken up: "When you are unhappy, come home!", plus a romantic message from a husband to wife: "My love for you is forever, through thick and thin. I'll hold your hand and walk the life's journey with you, together." A simple sentence or words of encouragement can let the people you care about feel your love and add energy to life. You can surely do it too!
