    Having proven popular with young customers, YATA Department Store has recently opened KONBINI by YATA at ALVA HOTEL BY ROYAL in Sha Tin. The shop combines elements of a boutique supermarket with a Japanese convenience store, offering numerous light bites, ready-meals and nutritious ingredients, providing busy urbanites with fantastic, time-saving options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so that they can enjoy more free time for themselves.     Grab & Go for the busy consumer on the go

    KONBINI by YATA is created by YATA Department Store as an all-in-one, one-stop-shop for picking up nutritious and ready-to-go foods. Incorporating the advantages of a boutique supermarket and a Japanese convenience store, it leads the charge in "speedy shopping, cooking and eating", satisfying Hong Kong people's desire for a time-saving, Grab & Go culture. The new store occupies an area of over 3,700 square feet, and features predominantly wooden design elements. Floor to ceiling glass enhances the feeling of space and light, while the lush greenery lets customers feel more relaxed whilst shopping.

    An authentic taste of Japan

    To give customers a totally "Fresh" shopping experience, KONBINI by YATA has specially partnered with Hokkaido's veteran and popular convenience store, Seicomart, to exclusively sell more than 70 must-buy drinks, snacks, soups and noodles from its own brand, Secoma. This includes yoghurt drinks and milk coffees made with Hokkaido milk, sweet melon juice jellies, as well as Hokkaido scallop edges and instant kombu, which are a great pairing when indulging in an alcoholic beverage. KONBINI by YATA also provides options for "High-Quality, Time-Saving Breakfasts, Lunches and Dinners", with a selection of sandwiches, rice balls, juices, fruit and desserts. There is even a range of Japanese foods, such as Okonomiyaki, Omurice and kabocha squash patties, that are ready-to-go. Simply heat up in the microwave or defrost at room temperature to enjoy a sensational Japanese breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack.
