Blissful relationships begin with support Professionals talk about how offering support leads to a happy life

Family love and support is vital to children's stable development and a happy marriage.

The SHKP Club is staging a seminar in mid July with veteran social worker Mr Wong Yuk-shu and family education expert Mr Yu Kwok-kin on ‘Blissful relationships begin with support'. They will explain what makes a happy marriage, how to express love in words and action and the role of parents and ways to bond with children. The seminar will give participants a better understanding of communication within a marriage and between parents and children. Admission is free but seats are limited. Speakers

Mr Wong Yuk-shu
Mr Wong is a registered social worker with over 30 years of experience in family and marriage counselling. He introduced developmental psychology and parent-child relationships courses and project groups to primary and secondary schools and universities. Also a guest presenter for a radio station, offering insights into marriage, communication between generations, child development and family harmony.

Mr Yu Kwok-kin
Mr Yu is a holder of a Master's degree in Social Science (Counselling) and a degree in Social Work. He has taught at universities, covering parenting, the Enneagram of Personality, student counselling and child development. He is involved in parent education and teacher training and has published child-parent books and taught seminars. He has two sons and a daughter and was a full-time father for five years.
