SHKP Club previously presented the OVER HONG KONG E-book for members to learn about how Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) had developed with Hong Kong and witness the growth of SHKP's asset portfolios through a range of spectacular pictures. The E-book also mirrored the way in which Hong Kong had evolved. A "Reading to Win" activity* was specially organised earlier, inviting members to select an SHKP project featured in the E-book and share family happenings there riding on the theme of "Loving Home Together".
The response for this activity was so overwhelming that a host of entries highlighting SHKP residential properties and shopping malls were received. The entries reflected members' warm memories with family, and how they passed through different stages of life together. There were also touching stories which demonstrated the valuable bond and connection between generations, and embodied family commitment, protection for the loved ones, as well as yearning for family members. Subject: Affection towards New Town Plaza promotes the pursuit of a Loving Home dream
Mr Wong had loads of fond memories in the 1980s. His entry does not only describe how he and his family have worked together to improve the living conditions, but also highlight the unforgettably beautiful scenery of Shatin in the past, as well as the landmark developments in the district that time - New Town Plaza and its music fountain. The good old days inspired Mr Wong to establish an ideal home for family. No matter at the old time when he lived in public housing, or nowadays when he has successfully purchased an SHKP property with his wife after more than 20 years of endeavour, his love and commitment towards family have remained. This truly demonstrates the spirit of Loving Home.
Subject: Park Island, a perfect place for a Loving Home
The tranquil Park Island is an ideal place for Mr Ng and his family to lay down roots. At Park Island, he and his wife are able to have a slower pace of life - strolling around the waterfront, admiring Tsing Ma Bridge's stunning view and spending quality family time together. With a new addition to the family, the new parents continue living at Park Island as its nice environment is desirable for his child’s growing up. Mr Ng believes that life will be wonderful as long as he is with family members, regardless what comes his way, especially Park Island's magnificent view always adds delights and sweetness to his family life!
Subject: Quality homes - realising promises and recording different moments in life
SHKP's "Building Homes with Heart" motto well matches Mr Chong's objective in home selection as both parties strive for high standard properties. Mr Chong thinks that a quality flat is essential when establishing a "Cozy Home" with family.
