SHKP keeps pace with the times, driving the lifestyle trend by using creative technology and the digital culture. Several shopping malls of its subsidiaries, located in Hong Kong and on the Mainland, together with sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck, recently received several awards from the industry for their marketing promotions.
The MARKies Awards, launched by the internationally renowned Marketing Magazine, focuses on creative ideas and media applications, and recognises the most innovative, creative and effective campaigns and projects spanning Hong Kong's entire marketing services industry — from unique one-offs to long-term campaigns and programmes. The Mob-Ex Awards recognise leading organisations which have pushed their limits and achieved success on mobile platforms through sound and innovative mobile marketing strategies. SHKP's sky100 Observation Deck and its various shopping malls (apm, YOHO MALL, Tsuen Wan Plaza and Metroplaza) secured a total of three Gold, six Silver and six Bronze medals at the two Award ceremonies, reflecting SHKP's belief in putting the customer first, making the best use of digital technology to innovate, and combining technology with humanities to generate customers, thereby bringing a different, unique leisure experience to customers.
In addition, the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) recently held its Global Commercial RECon China in Shanghai. In the three categories of the China Shopping Centre Awards, several of SHKP's shopping malls (East Point City, International Grand City (Guangzhou), apm, Landmark North, MOKO, Mikiki and PopWalk) obtained two Gold and five Silver medals. The Emerging Technology Category recognises campaigns which are driven primarily via new media channels; the Design and Development Category (New Developments and Renovations/Expansion) recognises world-class retail properties for their design and development creativity; and the Marketing Category intends to recognise excellence in marketing and programmes which strengthen a shopping centre's or company's performance.
