Following the successful launch of an exclusive charity afternoon tea "Reading Tea Time" with sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck and Café 100 by The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, and an overseas travel sponsorship scheme "Reading Stories from Afar with GLO Travel" during May and June, SHKP Reading Club will continue the 5th anniversary celebration momentum by presenting three more activities, encouraging the general public to enjoy reading and explore the world, which includes:

running the "Reading in Short Film" campaign with The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups M21 to invite the public to capture and share the happy reading moments through mobile phone video clips;

co-presenting the "Reading Hong Kong Stories" with the cultural tourism enterprise Walk In Hong Kong to encourage people exploring more possibilities that reading can provide;

collaborating with the Hans Andersen Club to teach and lead students and volunteer families to share the "Inter-generational Reading Fun" with elderly.

Since 2007, the SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation has set up a scholarship programme at Southwest University to support deserving students, and some 1,600 grants have been conferred to date. Recently, representatives of the SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation paid a visit to Chongqing, a city of Sichuan province, and signed an agreement for the new donation tranche, giving talented students with limited means an access to university education.
