Market appreciates high quality
According to a survey SHKP conducted among buyers of Park Central, people are looking for a property in a good location with an assurance of quality. Nearly 95% of respondents said SHKP's excellent reputation for high-quality developments made Park Central their first choice.
Good transportation to all districts
The survey also found that over 60% buyers chose the development because of its proximity to the MTR. About 90% of buyers now live in the New Territories or Kowloon, and over 80% of them work along rail lines. Park Central has the benefit of an incomparable transportation network, and a large transport terminal is also being built near the property, from which buses, minibuses and taxis will cover the entire territory.
All the convenience of the MTR
Park Central is on Tong Tak Street in Tseung Kwan O, on a 360,000 sq-ft site being developed in two phases. The first phase has five blocks with units ranging from over 500 to over 900 sq ft. Units offer a choice of two or three bedrooms, and some three-bedroom units will have an en suite master bathroom. All feature a practical design with more than 80% efficiency and ceilings over nine feet. The first phase will be handed over by the end of this year, when residents can enjoy the convenience of the MTR.
Tseung Kwan O MTR to open in August
There are five stations along the MTR Tseung Kwan O extension that will open this August: Po Lam, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O, Tiu Keng Leng and Yau Tong, connected to the Quarry Bay and North Point terminals. When the new line is in service, from Tseung Kwan O Station it will only take 12 minutes to North Point, 17 minutes to Causeway Bay and 24 minutes to Central. During rush hours, the trains will run at three-minute intervals. Connections with buses and minibuses running within the area and on to all other districts will make transportation in Tseung Kwan O extremely convenient.
Comprehensive public services
The Government is also developing public services in Tseung Kwan O. There are now more than 35 primary and secondary schools in the district and ten noted schools in nearby districts that residents can choose from. Other facilities include public swimming pools, a seaside garden, town park, library, post office, medical centre and more.
Shopping mall to meet residents' needs
The development will have a 360,000 sq-ft shopping mall with outlets supplying daily necessities and trendy new goods, such as restaurants, a food court and retail shops. For the younger generation, the mall's tenant mix will offer a variety of choices catering to modern shoppers.
Comprehensive club house and landscaped garden
Park Central was designed with an emphasis on family life. The 250,000 sq-ft club house and landscaped garden will promote healthy, natural living with comprehensive facilities like an indoor heated swimming pool, outdoor adult and family pools, jacuzzi, multi-purpose sports hall, gymnasium and model car racetrack. There will also be rooms for table tennis, aerobics, and music. Other facilities will include a bowling alley, tennis and squash courts, BBQ site, children's play area and toy library.
Live the modern life
Park Central will be managed by Hong Yip, a member of the SHKP Group, using advanced, intelligent management systems. And with an e-community from Superhome.net, residents will be able to use the Internet to obtain all the latest information for the household and daily living. Services like newspaper delivery, laundry, catering and mailing will also be provided.
