Landmark North renovations complete
Waterworld theme draws crowds
SHKP renovates its shopping centres regularly and stages mall events to draw crowds. Renovations to SHKP's Landmark North recently finished, and the mall's new theme is 'Waterworld'. Attractions like the world's largest glass fountain, a fashionable new decor and revamped tenant mix to suit young shoppers make Landmark North the new focus of the northern New Territories.

World's largest glass fountain
As part of the mall's new Waterworld theme, the atrium has a fountain made up of ten 34-metre glass towers, with a musical accompaniment and 256-colour light show in the evenings. Visitors actually feel like they are in a water world, and people outside the mall can also watch the dazzling lights through a glass wall.
Fresh new look
Landmark North covers a total of 181,000 sq ft over four storeys. The mall's new colour scheme is white, silver and blue, to match the Waterworld concept, and the new signage, ceiling and green plants contribute to a fresh new look. The new attractions ensure that the mall remains the prime centre of entertainment in the district.
Fully rented
Landmark North is next to the Sheung Shui KCR station, and it is the most popular shopping mall in the district. A new pick-up area for private cars and taxis was also added, which has resulted in more visitors coming from other areas. All the retail space is rented out, and to complement the mall's new image, the mix of tenants caters to young shoppers. New tenants include an ice cream parlour, boutiques, crystal shops and more. A number of retail chains are also planning to open in the mall.
Promotions attract visitors
A variety of promotional have been staged to attract visitors, including shows, exhibitions and charitable events, all of which draw crowds. As many as 40,000 people visit the mall on weekdays and up to 60,000 on holidays.
